Abso-Friggin-Lutely...
THAT is judging people...
To say someone needs "saving..."
Is another way of saying...
"I don't know you...but unless you see things MY way...you need to be "saved" according to what I believe is the "way" to live..."
Infidelity is NOT against the law...(in this country, anyway...and neither is "pre-marital sex," just to name two examples...)

Duh...
Obviously.
But then you can't stop people judging you. Every time someone looks at you they are passing judgement. They can't do anything to prevent it, honestly.... It is a subconscious process that occasionally feeds through unstoppably to the conscious levels...
It isn't really all that important ultimately.
If someone wants to pray that you'll be saved JUST so they can achieve some level of contentment for their own life.... then who are you to deny them that? It doesn't make any more difference to your life than you allow it to.

As near as I can figure out from your question, someone is judging you for being an unwed mother. Jesus said that he who is without sin casts the first stone and that person had no right to judge you. However, as a Christian, I believe all need to reach out to God for the free gift of salvation He offers. That is not a statement of judgement.

i think it really depends on the true heart of the one who is praying. hypocritical Christians, for example, are the number one reason people do not want to go to church. what a shame. there are those that pray for others, but do not see the "plank" in their own eye". they don't see their own sins, only those of others. but there are also those with a genuine heart for God, who will pray unceasingly for those they love to be saved through Jesus Christ. those that have a personal relationship with Christ, and who are doing all things for His glory will not judge.
About your baby: God knitted him in your womb and knows every hair on his head. He knew about him before you even did. and God has a purpose for him. he is NO accident, planned by you or not. Perhaps the person you are speaking of is trying to say that the act of sex outside of a marriage relationship is sin, and you should repent for that, not your son. i don't know. all i know is that we all have enough sin in our lives, and do not need to go around telling other people what they must repent for. That is God's job to touch a life and make them see what He has in store for them. In order to have a true relationship with Jesus Christ, you must repent for all sins. I have to ask that every day. i sin every day. i am sorry this person has made you feel like this. we are all equal in our sin in the eyes of God, and we all must repent for them. but to tell you your son was a sin is false. he was destined from the beginning of time.

Yes. But if they feel like they need to tattle on you to their imaginary God then I say go for it. It makes them feel better that they've found another soul to save. Almost like they have to compete with others on a Heavenly tally sheet for the favor of God...
In my experience.

No I don't think so. You see, EVERYONE in this world needs to be saved. None of us is worthy that we can go to heaven just because we do good. That is a very poor basis because we all have done something bad. That something bad is called sin, and the Holy Bible says that whoever sins goes to hell.
It is just right to say that EACH ONE of us needs to be saved because we all are originally supposed to end up in hell.
Actions are not the basis of whether you are saved or not, so if someone says you need to be saved, it does not mean that you are doing bad with your life. It is just the way things are because we sin.
To go to heaven, we just have to believe in Christ, repent and accept Him to be our Lord or God, and our Savior. It does not mean that we have to do good things. It just means we have to accept Christ.
Therefore, when someone says you need to saved, he is not saying that you are a bad person and you have to start being good. He is just saying that you have sinned, like everyone else in this world, and you need to accept Christ.

I agree with you. I really don't like people when they do that. It's activism, I think. To me religion is very personal and when you are ready to explore your spirituality/morality, you'll try to find that on your own. It's tactics like making you guilty that gives religion a bad reputation.
On the practical side of things, there are advantages to two-parent households. But just like the religion issue above, this is really something you'll need to figure out for yourself.
Keep on loving your baby as much as you do, and be his/her champion and stand up for him/her.

Listen to Lucid Interrogator, he's right. Everyone judges everyone else. It's a fact of life. Don't let it bother you.

the bible says that Satan the deceiver will be called god of this earth... that is all they are following . They don't see by their own behavior the horrible effect they are having on this earth.... they are refered to as hypocrites in the bible ... so we who are not of the religious nature have a hard time to see it too...
