I live in New York which is a few hours behind London, England time-wise so if I am in England watching football could I bet on the team that wins using an American betting site as they won't know the result in America yet but I will know who will win and I can make loads of money!!!

No it will not work. The bets will be closed based upon of the actual local starting time. As mentioned before with all of the technology all scores are real time-it does not matter where the events are played.

Seriously? You actually think in the US they're not going to know the results of an football game that ended at 5pm London time just because their clock says is 12pm? Do you think there is a time warp when crossing the Atlantic?

Any online gambling site is going to have live score updates regardless of what time zone they are in. This sort of thing might have worked in the 50's and in movies like "The Sting" but with modern technology and communication, this scheme has no chance of being successful.

Yeah I agree it will make you some money by the sounds of it but my opinion is that something is bound to go wrong & could leave you much worse off if it does (e.g. huge repayments, jail sentance, or a run in with a mob or two...)
Up to you I guess think the end will out way the risk?

if u think u can make it work go ahead and try and do it.
but i would be watching ur back the whole time cause when someone finds out ur cheating them out of money they are not gonna be very happy.
that would be scamming to most people once they find out so just be careful if u are gonna try it might not be worth what u might make cause u might be taken to court over it and charged and cost u more money then u got

This is similar to "past posting" in racing. You can make money until you get caught. Then you might meet a couple of people who will break your arms and legs.
