Depends.

Go back a hundred years or so.... and yes, I would have been executed in some form or other.... removed.... put in a circus perhaps until that was the death of me. I can pretty much guarantee I wouldn't have been alive.

The same theme stems back through time as far as the Dark Ages....

But if you go back further again.... depending on culture, it might turn out differently. It would depend on whom I was born to.... And if you go back thousands of years, it starts to reach the point where my evolutionary state of advancement over those around me would supercede social capability requirement and my survivability would sky-rocket...

Put me back in time about 100,000 years or so.... and present day people might all be my descendants...

If I weren't living in modern times, by now I'd have at least 7 kids. My genes would be all over the pool.

Absolutely. I have been short sighted since I was a child, so would have been eaten by a predator. Even if I had survived, I have asthma, so would have died of that.

Of course, my Dad is short sighted too, so I might not even have made it into the world in the first place.

Two of my children have asthma and nearly died as babies. Without modern medicine (steroids) they wouldn't be here.

My theory is that asthma, allergies, etc, are on the increase because modern medicine is saving those who would normally die, who then go on to pass their illnesses on to their children.

Despite that, I am very grateful to living when and where I do! I can wear glasses, my asthma is under control, and my children have grown out of it.

I'm big, strong, and smart enough to get out of a jam. I think if I hadn't been coddled by these modern conveniences I would have grown into someone capable of surviving on my own.

As it is, if it were a survival of the fittest competition now after growing up in the city...I think I'd be eaten by something.

I think back to all the times I have had antibiotics, and gone to the dentist. I think of the luxury of soap, and taking baths, general hygiene. I have had surgery. Most people I know fit into this general category..most of us would be dead. We might have produced children at young ages ..but we would be pushing up daises.

No, not at all. on the contrary, i would have more to gain because the sick, the unfit, the poor, the uneducated would be eliminated. We would not need any social programs.
Joke aside, why do you think you are so inferior? I don not feel that way.
