I thought of this idea for a reality show where a group of dieticians ambush someone in a grocery store who has a lot of junky food in their cart. Then they ask the person if they would like to trade the junk food for healthy foods and they show the person how they can eat healthy for the same price as what they were buying, ie they trade out a box of hostess cakes for a box of granola bars, a candy bar for a yogurt, a bag of chips for a bag of carrots, etc. To make it worth the person's while the show could pay for the groceries. I think it would be helpful for people at home too because they could learn how to make better choices when they buy groceries and not have to spend more money.

Sounds boring, to be honest. Who wants to be lectured on their food?

People know which foods are healthy, but make the decision to buy junk anyway.

Now, if you get people who argue and tell the dietician to stuff it and go Jerry Springer on the self-righteous dieticians. That would be interesting to watch, in a train wreck sort of way.

The idea would be a great teaching aid, but we have so many reality shows now, that it would be lost in the clutter.

Call the TV networks... and pitch them the idea :) Sounds good to me.
