first off what kind of kitten? some kitties (like people) just have runny eyes, or allegies, or it could be a sign of illness or infection. If the breeder is reputable, they will have the kitty cleared by a vet before you take her home

It's very difficult to tell with kittens whether there is any kind of disease or not. If this is a reputable breeder, they will agree to have this kitten vet-cleared before the sale of the animal. If not, don't even think about it---they already know there is something wrong. And, if it doesn't work out--go check out your local animal shelter. You'll be quite surprised to find how many exotic and purebred cats wind up there. Good luck to you.

Well it depends on a few things. How committed you are? How well you know horses? and how much of a budget you have? 1) How committed you are- Even though you may of dreamed of a horse for a very long time it is very different to actually own one. Are you prepared to spend about an 1 1/2 about every 1-2 days? It is worth it but can cost a bit in petrol especially if it lives far away. It will cost about $1000 a year not including riding lessons or board. Horse care can start at about $2000 dollars and can go up to any price. Plus food can cost about $100 dollars a month. 2) How well you know horses- Even though you love horses it is probably best to do about 6months of lessons and hand on experience. Learn about horses and how to look after them. Learn how to ride different horses. 3)How much of a budget you have? Not only do you have to pay for the horse but all the expenses with it. Here is a list of all the costs you will have. Food- Food will cost around $100/$150 a month for food Boarding- Boarding will cost anywhere between $50 to $150 depending on the level of care and the area your horse will be living. Tack- Tack starts at about $1000 and goes up in price. In this price I am including your riding wear and rugs. Petrol- Depending on where you live petrol can be a big factor in owning a horse. Not only do you have to factor those costs in but if you want ot do horse riding on your own horse I suggest a pony club which involves you buying a horse float and other Equipment. Not only that but all the vet, dentist, physio, farrier and chiropractor costs come on top of that. Plus any toys or medications needed. All over it is a lot to think about but the main answer to your question, how far along should a rider be before looking to buy and board their own horse, as long as you realise the responsibility, you can buy one when ever you want.

Consider going to your local animal shelter to get a pet. You may literally be saving a life.
Or if you really want this exotic kitten, think about getting a stray from the pound, too. Two cats aren't much more to keep than one, and two cats can entertain each other, whereas one cat alone can get destructive.
But be sure to get both of them neutered, please.

Eye watering is common in cats with flatter faces - such as persians, so it may just be a problems that is generalised by the breed. What kind of exotic cat are you looking in to purchasing?
as with any cat you should get it vet checked as soon as possible - that cat may just have a cold.

Cats are being killed because of bad laws relating to strays. Paying a breeder to make more cats is immoral. Go the 'shelter' and hang out there for a bit until you find a cat you 'click with'.

Pass on purcashing,, why don't you go adopt? Really, what's so great about having something "purebred" when there are thousands of animals being killed in local shelters because there aren't enough homes.
Think about whta the right thing to do is here. Don't be selfish.
