Umm, I've been feeling a bit depressed lately but I kind of find I have to clean, I have no idea why. I've always been a kind of neat person, but I'm 15 and thats not really normal is it? because everyone tells me I'm a freak because I have to have everything clean. When I feel down I have to clean, like just the other day I COMPLETELY cleaned my room, vacuumed, polished, chucked out unwanted stuff, sorted, made my bed (that doesnt really count because I do that everyday before I got to bed-another thing I cant go to bed without it made) pulled everything out and cleaned behind it. And today mum told me she'd give me some extra pocket money if I cleaned some stuff for her, but I did more than what she wanted because in the bathroom she just wanted me to wipe out the cupboard but I scrubbed the shower and bath as well, then I cleaned the kitchen draws and cleaned the glasses cabinet (I pulled it out and cleaned behind it by washing the floor and washing the wall behind it). vacuumed the whole house and did some cooking. I also do this sort of stuff when I'm bored too. Is this weird?

Well, if I were 15 and you were my friend, then yes. I would think you were strange...but not scary!

But I'm 49. Never had children, and none of my friends showed that type of behavior.
I think you're wise beyond your years.
Any parent would love to have a daughter like you (I'm sure you'll hear that later too)
Find your passion and go for it. You seem to have mega energy. Use it to its full potential...
I envy you (bad word, sorry)
But mostly, I envy your mother.

Well, being that you are concerned it could be a little bit of obsessive compulsive disorder, but then again maybe you just enjoy cleaning. I guess you have to make a decision for yourself by asking yourself.....can I stop cleaning? Does this rule your thoughts? If you are obsessive look at it this way, there are many other health problems you could have that are deadly...so can you live with it or is it to a point you feel you need medication to stop? Truly, there are many other worse problems you could have. Try to take a day off, perhaps stay away from home for a day and see how you feel. My best to you....wish i could bring you to my house...it needs a lot of organization :). Take care.

no
its not weird @ all
its lot better than getting into bad company, doing wrong things and getting into trouble
i say keep it up
as long as u dont tire and damage urself in any way
this can actually keep u fit as well
in any case, what wrong with over cleaning, doing it again, moving things to clean behind
IS NOT SUPPOSED TO B GUD?

You probably just have a lot on your mind. At least you're doing something productive.
