i know sunlight helps depression (i have mild-moderate) but how does the sun make u feel better ??
. i love it since thesuns been out lately :)

Seasonal Depression Disorder from the lack of sunlight during the winter months. Special lamps can be purchased to off set the effects for persons that suffer from this. 8:)

Serotonin production increases when you are exposed to bright light. There are other factors, but serotonin is a key factor in mood regulation. Generally, the higher the levels, the better you feel.

in winter we feel yuk when the sun comes out we want to party we are more alive in our self we move faster we eat healty we mix with people we r outside we swim we all loveit so much we are awake more we r lighter as in not so much clothes we are sort of naked ( less clothes ) we feel free we look better feel better we are alive .we visit more we do more we just love it .our washing gets dry we dont have so much ironig we are h appy so we love it we feelgreat fantastic . we dance whilst we do the housework .we move our bodies .we have smiles on our face we have colour WE LOVE IT .... everyone is happy when the sun comes out it gives us somethink but who knows what .but lap it up while the sun is here ILOVE IT

sunlight raises serotonin levels and higher serotonin levels generally make you feel better. it is the main neurotransmitter in many antidepressants such as zoloft and prozac
