when my heart finally was healed, i felt nothing but calm and relief from finally reaching the end of the dark tunnel. it feel like crying anymore, and i didn't think about my ex- , other than to think "wow, that was such a bad relationship for me, but now i've moved on, and i feel better than i did before i was with him" and i don't feel bitter about my ex-, that's probally the most crucial thing, if you still feel bitter in any way about your ex- or his new gf, then you're not healed yet. (though i still wanna call and demand he give me my picture and sweatshirt back. he doesn't deserve to look at me, or to have anything that could potentially give him a reason to call again) good luck, lol..... 8P

as quickly as my broken heart healed I felt as though it wasn't so undesirable. whilst my heart became broken it became the main painful, disappointing, empty, lonely, feeling I had ever had in my existence. I felt as though i wouldn't in any respect get better. Now i glance back and think of that is became not uncomplicated yet I found out lots approximately myself and that i'm more suitable then i will have imagined. i presumed i wouldn't in any respect love anybody that lots ever back. i became incorrect because of the fact i admire my the guy i'm with now extra then I even have ever enjoyed all and sundry.

Honestly? I finally came to the realization that he had done me a favor. We weren't compatible, in fact to this day he cheats on his wife (wasn't married when I was seeing him), everything that was wrong with "us" is still going on. For whatever reason you broke up, it was meant to be, someday you'll know that with all of your heart, and you won't feel like you do now. I promise. Take care.

Yes the freedom you feel is awsome. Then comes the realization that you could have had it long ago. And It kind of makes you mad at yourself for a minute but you get over that too. Then onward and upward to where you are supposed to be. and Yes it is awsome!

meh there are days when i feel so fresh
kinda like when you hear rilo kiley sing "feels good to be free" in the chorus of breakin' up
sometimes i wake up sadsies though
i believe you never get over someone, its kinda like a disease you live with everyday. you win some you lose some i guess it just depends on how you deal with the days you lose

You can look back on the situation and think about the nice times without becoming sad, The angst is replaced by a sweetness.

There will always be a scar no matter how long the time is. I get more cautious whenever I meet new people.

I felt good. I stopped crying. I started to respect myself again. I stop thinking about them every day. I didn't realise I was over them, till one day, I just thought, wow, I haven't thought about such and such for a while. I felt wiser. More experienced.

It was more an after-thought when I looked up and noticed my constant companion, the pain, was no longer there and I no longer evaluated other women by my experiences with her.

you are never truly free from that pain, you just get used to it.
you will feel that pain even more when the person who caused it contacts you, friendly or otherwise. broken hearts never truly heal from that kind of thing.
