how could the president fix it?he cant fix anything.look at the mess he has us in now as is.
its the parents who need to fix it.make their kids go to school.spank them and ground them if they dont.they dont want to do home work?take the computer out of their room.it should be in the living room or family room anyway.wont go to school?no phone privligages,no allowance,no going out.they sneak out?spank them.if you cant find time to keep your kids in line then you spend too much time out of your house.cut back on social events or dont work that much overtime.

To the answer before mine, capitalism is not responsible for the moral decay in our country. That is preposterous. Moral decay comes from marginalizing every religion but Islam, condoning matriarchal societies where two-parent homes are a thing of the past, and desecrating the institution of marriage. Criminals don't come from capitalists, they come from abusive, broken, and usually father-less homes where the cycle of delinquency and debauchery begins.
You are very right, though. America will never be what it was or what it can be until these issues are addressed. The sad thing is, I don't think they ever will be. It's a downward spiral.

Well the problem is that people think money can fix anything. In reality, that is completely untrue. Money only provides some financial security. This is completely a social issue that has to do with society. What you listed seems to be most likely a result of people uneducated. To fix the problem, fix the educational system. Also, might want to fix the problem that a majority of Americans work three jobs and pay check to pay check to support a family and put food on the table. If there is hardly anytime for family, then how can family values be successfully passed on before being completely negated by many of the things you listed.
It is learned behavior through being in and around bad environments. In a sense, this is what has put us economically to where we are in this day and age.

The laws of the USA promote divorce. If your spouse calls 911 and lies to the police they will break up your marriage by ordering No contact and send innocent party to consoling without even thorough investigation or realizing what the true dynamics of the home are. How does this promote family. Also sending off 130,000 soldiers to war halfway around the world(for five years) to try to keep the peace between groups that have been fighting for 2500 years does not support families.

This is the result of the secularists that don't think faith and religion have any place in society. The concept of freedom of religion has been perverted to mean freedom from religion. America has become hostile to people of faith. The same people who preach tolerance of lifestyles and behavior that some find immoral can't and won't tolerate the beliefs of religious people. Tolerance is only practiced when they deem it fit. The ACLU has made this their mission.
Our schools have become diploma factories that churn out uneducated young people due to failed education policies that condone social promotion of students in order to avoid harming their self esteem, regardless of their progress. We no longer teach personal responsibility and instead cultivate a culture of entitlement. We have to change attitudes to change bad behavior and until the lesson is learned we must punish bad behavior and quit making excuses for it. Wrong behavior is wrong but too many people think it's okay since somebody else is doing something they think is worse.
This question itself is a good example. Why bother trying to fix the country since bad things are happening in it? I don't buy it. Wrong is wrong on all levels. Government can't legislate values, it's the responsibility of each of us to do what's right.

The government (and their paid 'experts') have encouraged this situation by promoting a society in which divorce is acceptable and even encouraged, both parents must work long hours because of declining wages, and spanking children is heavily discouraged. Hell, you can't even hurt their feelings by being honest with them without being accused of damaging their self esteem. Divorce and single parenthood are encouraged by government handouts. Education has been dumbed down because stupid people are easier to control. Immorality is encouraged by legal abortion and birth control (both of which are offered freely to children as young as ten without parental consent).
This same government is also responsible for illegal immigration. They encourage discord by giving special privileges to illegals, which includes not punishing them for breaking laws in many cases (aside from illegal entry). Can't you see that this country is deliberately being torn apart and our rights are being replaced with privileges (it varies on which people have which privileges at any given time)? This is all to benefit the elite. It gives them all the power and control, while we are left with the illusion of freedom.
I can usually explain this better, but I haven't been awake long. But I'm sure you understand what I'm trying to say.

specific they could.. human beings tend to forget approximately that it wasn't in basic terms Bush that have been given us into Iraq however the votes in Congress as nicely. So the two Democrat and Republican can share that blame. What human beings look to forget approximately that having a call between Democrat and Republican won't be a call in any respect in the event that they proceed to do what they desire to do rather of what the yank human beings desire to do. We could start to stay with the U. S. shape which the two events say they carry expensive yet as you are able to discover the two events do not strategies pissing on it on a similar time as there in workplace. the two events deserve equivalent share of the blame for the state of the USA. The state of the financial device is using banks giving out loans to human beings they knew could not discover the money for it. in spite of the undeniable fact that once you verify out congress to work out them the two Democrat and Republican getting specific can provide. Or Lobbyist from mastercard agencies who proceed to rob individuals with intense interest and value;s and make obscene salary. the two events are a shame to the what the founding fathers meant for this u . s . a .

I find it amusing that some people try and blame capitalism.
So the downward trend of a two parent home is because of capitalism? how do you draw a parallel of people creating a child and not staying together to capitalism? ... thats idiotic.
