Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts could be a good place to start, first as a volunteer, then perhaps as a staff member. They usually like to have people who want to do teen outreach.

Organizations that help adolescents need people with solid, appropriate skills and experience -- having a good heart is "nice", but what's really needed is appropriate expertise that can really make a difference in the lives of teens.
Jobs where you work with teens can be related to therapy (learning to handle anger, dealing with anxieties or childhood traumas, etc.), counseling (helping teens to find jobs, deal with a bad situation at home, get help with school, etc.), or training/teaching (helping teens learn the social interaction skills needed to gain and hold a job, teaching a particular skill or subject, etc.).
For your undergrad degree at university, you could pursue psychology or sociology. This would give you a good foundation in the science and practice needed. Masters degrees are preferred by most organizations, as such gives you the intensive specialized training that is very much needed to work with teens.
But you can start right now getting some experience, through volunteering. You won't be put into situations with teens until you gain some experience and training, and prove yourself to be a reliable, appropriate person to work with such. You will also have to be prepared to undergo a criminal background check.
To find nonprofit organzations in the USA that are focused on helping teens, try VolunteerMatch (http://www.volunteermatch.org), Idealist (http://www.idealist.org) and CraigsList (http://www.craigslist.com) all list volunteering opportunities with thousands of organizations, many of them in your area. Also, contact your local volunteer center; you can find this via the Points of Light Foundation web site (http://www.pointsoflight.org/centers/).

Love, Love, Love! Become what you truly are - the embodiments of Love. No matter how others treat you or what they think of you, do not worry. Follow Jesus Christ. Love for your own evolution and not for what others say. Do not imitate others. Cultivate your own life. You have your own heart, your own opinions, your own ideas, your own will. Why then imitate? Follow your chosen path. Let your own experience of God be your guide and master."
