1991 ford ranger to be exact or other wise where i can find a transmission and not just the parts for one.

it's not that hard, just get an automatic transmission from the junkyard out of a ranger that had your engine and was automatic.

Might not be worth it. There are alot of little issues that will need to be addressed. You'll need a new steering wheel column, you'll have to do something with the hole in the floor board, you may very well need a new ECU if your transmission has electronic controls, you'll likely have to remove a crossmember or two to get the old tranny out and the new one in. That's just for starters. It would probably be easier and less expensive to sell what you have and buy a similar Ranger with the slushbox.

just buy another ranger thats automatic theres a **** load of them out there for cheap maybe if u could go automatic to standard transmission swap would be pretty easy but just like that other guy said u would need a bunch of other parts and it would be a pain in the ***.
