One day, while showering at the gym, the nearby water turned yellowish. I was tempted to say something, but then I remembered reading somewhere that Madonna believes that peeing in the shower kills athlete's foot - and by the time I stopped visualizing HER doing that in a public gym shower, the guy had left anyway.

i do it without hesitation when i'm alone. In groups, it's best to get permission like anything, but guys can have a funny way of doing that when horsing around. I recall once this guy across from just started peeing and the rest of who were near laughed and started joining in ourselves
Another time, i had to go bad but the urinals were taken so i returned to the shower drain and let loose. Again, others joined in

If you MUST go in the shower, then just go. I live in a college dorm, and I pee in it occassionally. Of course, I wear shower slippers whenever I go into the bathroom 'cause the bathrooms are pretty nasty. Not my fault if somebody gets foot fungus, they should've been wearing slippers or shoes or something, not barefoot.

It's a bad habit and not okay whether alone or in company with anyone for that matter. There's a proper place like a urinal or toilet bowl for the human liquid or solid waste. It is very unsanitary and of course not good to anyone's health, more so if it smells bad in the air.

If you live by yourself, go ahead.
If you share the shower with someone else, try not to, or at least clean it well after yourself.
In communal showers, don't do it.

I think it is disgusting and gross, BUT, when I have been swimming, and am showering afterwards, I can't help it, it just comes out. But i am always embarrassed by doing this and would never confess except to you guys, you wont tell will you?!

Totally okay. If you need to do it, do it. I wouldn't do it regularly though...only in emergencies or occasionally. I think if it is a regular activity you could smell up the shower eventually. Same goes with taking a dump in there. Just my 2cents...

It really depends on who is in there at the time... also where do you draw the line..., next the hand basin, then the kitchen sink...
