Mine is Boxer!!!!
They are the best!!!!
So friendly, fun, great with kids, smart, easy to train, loyal, beautiful and silly!
The flip side is some slobber! Other then that they are awsome!

Next to the Boxer, I love Beagles and Staffies. If I couldn't have a large boxer I'd choose one of them =)

Boxer's also never grow up!
My boxer Brandi is 7 and she seems like she is just settling down. She is still playful and energetic.
Currently it seems as though she is just getting grey fur on her stomach and around her eyes, and she seems to tire out a little quicker.
Other then that she seems as though she is still as old as when we got her (1 year).
Once I've had a boxer there is no other dog. (Unless I can't have a boxer)

Australian Shepherds. When I move out of an apartment and into a house (probably not anytime soon) I want to get one and name her Clarence.

I love beagles because they love people and they are very out going. They have a powerful bark that sounds like it comes from a big dog and that hopefully scares away any burglars who come and trys to hurt my family. They are sweet, loving, caring, funny, and stupid. In a good way though! I've had one for 2 and a half years. They are lovable and they can never stay mad at you or hold any grudge at all. They get distracted easily, that's the down side. But still,
I LOVE BEAGLES!!! :)

Mine is Jack Russell Terriers. I've had two of these dogs, though many family members have kept them for years. They are extremely intelligent (some say too intelligent!) and have awesome personalities. It is a small dog with the personality of a big dog! Training is a must, or it could possibly become 'yippy' or aggressive, but I think training is a must for any breed, as it is part and package of owning a dog.

I do a lot of volunteer work for a local SPCA and I love them all and want to take them all home. But, by far my favorite is a rescued blue heeler I did take home. She is so smart and so devoted.
Have you ever heard of Skidboot? That's a blue heeler I saw on Oprah and went online to find out more. Then I saw the Texas County Report stint they did on him. Check it out. It will let you know just how I feel about my dog too.

You can also check out www.skidboot.com or search for skidboot and the youtube video is there.
The puppy I rescued had blue eyes and as she aged her eyes only half changed and that makes her even more awesome looking.

My favorite breed of dog would be a Pitbull they are loyal.
Pit bulls are loving dogs no matter what our media and society says. People who abuse dogs can train a Lab to maul a child. So the world should stop the killing of Pitbulls and dogs in general. I love Pitbulls I own 2, one is 9 and the other is 2. They are awesome dogs.

Tosa. Like a huge boxer, but doesn't slobber much and with the heart and dedication of a fighter. I hate yappy little ankle biters with a passion.

staffordshire bull terriers. not only do the kennel club recommend them with young families, but they're pretty much like boxers. friendly, ditzy, easy to train, loyal and just all round fantastic. i will never have another breed of dog. once you have a staff, your hooked. shame the media doesnt do them any favours.

I LOVE Boxer's! Had on for 11 years but luckily she never slobbered. She only drooled when she was begging for food. :)

Irish Setter. SOOO gorgeous. But, they are not for everyone.
They are the "eternal puppy" breed. Really, they never grow up! They do calm down to some extent, maybe after they are 5 years old or so, but until then ... big mischief!
I just love 'em ... big clowns!!!

LOL, to me, mutts and German Shepherds are the only real dogs :-))
But along with those two, I also have a pit bull terrier and she is the most loving piece of ugly on the planet.
