This is a theory I have. I have low BP and get angry often. I feel a real need for the adrenaline rush anger gives me. It's almost as if my body is trying to regulate my BP by cranking it up on a regular basis. What do you think?

It is more likely that the 'adrenaline rush' has less to do with your blood pressure (pretty much unnoticeable) than perhaps your blood sugar. Stress releases adrenaline and cortisol which prompts the liver to release glycogen in the form of glucose. What you may actually be craving is a 'sugar high'.

Believe it or not, you can get addicted to the drug 'adrenaline'. Your body likes the high it gives you and like anyone going through withdrawal, you become irritable and angry easily if you don't have a dose of it. Your body can be conditioned to receive that dose when you're angry, hence no surprise when it happens. I recommend you keep away from activities or situations that cause you to feel anger so that your body has a chance to adjust to not having the constant adrenaline rushes. People with low blood pressure have the opposite problem, they're very lethargic in nature and don't do much of anything. Low blood sugar can be a problem and make you irritable, so try eating pretzels, crackers or something like that. You'd have to get blood work done to make sure of the low blood sugar though. Hope this helps, stay healthy.

I have several friends who have low blood pressure all the time and they are as calm as that sitting buddha after a meal
I also have another friend who has a short fuse and will get angry at anything. Yaighhh ! Grrrr (hyperventilates too)
High blood pressure there.

I think you are the exception to the rule. You get mad but your BP is low.
