And you would be correct!!! Armaggedon is when Jesus and his army will do away with Satan and the wickedness of the world. There will be no war, sickness, or death. God will keep His promise of returning the earth to paradise and the meek ones will inherit the earth, allowing us to live forever in peace serving God. Isn't that exciting?!!!

Depends on how you look on it and how you define it. The end of the world can mean the end of humanity for some and the end of life on Earth for some and the end of the entire Universe for some others. If you meant the very latter then I'd say it's a bit arrogant. There are countless galaxies, stars, and planets in the universe and just because an arrogant speciemen named "human" which thinks it's the most supreme being in the whole world believes that the whole universe has to end just because they feel like cooling things down is quite unfair for countless other galaxies, stars, planets, and possibly aliens. If you meant the end of humanity, I'd say it's very good for the Mother Nature and the other species on Earth.
If you meant the 2nd, though, you'd have to wait several thousand milleniums for that. The sun will become a Red Giant and then it would burn up almost all life, if not all, on earth as it swells up. If you meant the end of Earth the planet, I dunno. It almost seems perpetual for us puny humans.

I do believe in Armaggedon, but rather than wording it as the end of the world, I would word it as "the end of THIS system of things"...that's what you meant, right? :-) And yes, it's the very best promise ever :-)

I believe that to all who believe in God that the end of the world couldn't come sooner. Suffering, poverty, pain and illness will all be gone. Believers will get to live in the Promised Land forever with their Creator. It will be an awesome experience for some and a not so awesome for others.

In my darkest moments I feel that the whole thing should be wiped out and started again. Interestingly, the pagan theology of Odinism says something similar, with a couple of humans left in the tree of life after "The Doom of the Gods" ending (interpreted poetically and mythologically, of course! -- I really am an atheist).
Perhaps Gotterdammerung really will be the end of suffering.
Good question!

The end of the world comes for each person when they die. And it is the end of suffering. Wheather the world ends or not stastics say the human race does not have very long in therm of the cosmos wheather there is a god or not.

Good that
God's test of all humans will be over.
All Humans will be resurrected with new bodies.
the life of this world with all kinds of torments will stop
Soon it is will be the time of the result of God's test for each soul
The humans who were obedient servants of God will be joyous and enter in Heaven for eternal life . They will get all they will ask for as the reward of their patience in this difficult life. They will live in peace for ever.
May be this life of ours is a selection process of God to choose the the most obedient and loyal to God. May be mere glorifying God and worshipping all the time will only be part of life in Heaven and God will have some higher level of task for His loyal servants also. May be God will convert them as Angels to manage the world in some other Galaxies because God has created thousands of them as scientists keep saying.
Bad that
Disobedient and rebellious to God will be punished severely
in hell fire and millions of them will be burned and completely finished. Their loud cries from pain of burning will be unbearable to hear and see for the good humans in Heaven. They will thank God that they are not in hell.
Those who believe that so and so will save us them from hell fire will be shocked that their belief was wrong and their wishful thinking was false and no one can save them from hell fire. Besides Christians there are some Muslims also who also believe that their Prophet Mohammad will save them from hell though he warned them that he won't be able to save them. Even God warned them in Quran that no one will save you except your own good deeds.
See this Ayah in Quran:
Then guard yourselves against a day when one soul shall not avail another nor shall intercession be accepted for her, nor shall compensation be taken from her, nor shall anyone be helped (from outside). Quran 2-48

Good for Christians, devastating for non-believers. The main thing is to make sure that you are right with God.
