I caught my ex the other day following me to my friends house. How creepy is that?? Can I get some kind of restraining order against him?? He wants me back but I don't have time for that kind of childish games.

Different states have different laws & different definitions of staulking. You might want to look up the laws in your state to see exactly what they are. In most states it is hard to get a restraining order, unless he has threatened you or harmed you physically. Good Luck. I can relate, because I have been through the same thing. It's not a good situation to be in. The only way to really know what measures you need to take is to call or go to the police station in your city and find out. Don't wait. Do this as soon as possible. I'll be praying for your safety.

Yes it's stalking. Yes you can get a restraining order. No it isn't a childish game. It's (potentially) much more dangerous than that! You should take this seriously and be careful. Let him no you do not want to get back together, then do not respond to him in anyway.

Sorry I shouldn't laugh...This reminds me of my old friend.
She also had an ex stalk her. He would follow her everywhere like a puppy and then at night would go tearing up and down the streets in his car yelling that he loved her.
She tried talking to him but it didn't work. So she went to another friend of ours who's dad was a policeman. He dressed up in his uniform, went to the creepy stalkers house and told him to stop being a pest.
He got the message and stopped.
So if you know a policeman, do that.
Yes you could probably get a restraining order against him if he really is stalking you.
Just go to your local police station.

I am sure that you can get a restraining order. If he is following you then I think that may be the safest way to go.

Stalking is an actual crime, so yes, you can definitely get a restraining order. If he persists, he can get arrested.

Just go down to the police station and let them know that he keeps following you and let them know everything that goes on and they will send you with a restraning order on him. Good luck.

You can't get a restraining order unless he threatens you (I speak from personal experience) However, you can tell him you'll get one if he doesn't knock it off.

yes you can put a restraining order on him but the bigger question here is will the police deliver it i did one once and it was never delivered.
