Where I would not recommend it, I have to say my father married a very young woman. She is the same age as me, It made for a mess at first couple of years, but I have to say it is 16 yrs later and they are still together and as in most marriages still happy most days. (My father didn't have a lot of money either.) I think it has a lot to do with the people not the age. But again it is hard on her now they are getting older she is paying for having an old man as a husband, he is wearing out and she has kids and now they are going through stuggle of keeping him working with bad knees. So if it starts out for money it never ends that way.

Whatever makes you happy. Love is love. Although it will be painful cus the 50 year old will die in the prime of the 18 year old's life and if they have kids. That will hurt them too. Then if that 18 year old gets remarried it will hurt the kids and so on. But if it's worth the heartache. Then yeah.

I don't know.. i mean Hugh Laurie is almost 50.
Pierce Brosnan is 54.
And as an 18 year old myself - i wouldn't say no. =P
But an AVERAGE 50 year old guy?
Hm. I'd think this girl (or maybe the guy) has issues and/or is a golddigger.

Why is this question in toodler and preschoolers? Thats pretty young to be thinking about hookups- just kidding!!
Personally, I think it all depends on the 2 people involved and it is not anyone elses business unless other factors are involved (such as with teacher, doctor, parent, etc.)

I think that the 50yr old has lived long enough to know better and if he or she really cares enough for the eighteen year old He or She will leave her alone to enjoy life ... bottom line, yes I believe that there's young people that get into relationships like that... for... "LOVE", MAYbe "Interest" or other genuine reasons but in the long run the 50 yr old knows he has lived his life and it's kinda unfair to know that you lived your life and you're not letting the 18yrs old enjoy theirs, (AT 50 YOU'RE A GRANDPA?MA>>> AT 18 YOU Just went to prom....) GET IT????and if the 18yr. old can't see it the 50 year old can!

the 50 year old should consider the future of the 18 year old, will she be happy with him, taking care of him when he's sick, use 3rd person perspective, don't cloud the judgement just by her appearance. but i cannot judge others, so if you feel it's okay, then go ahead, those above are just suggestions.

Doesn't really matter who's got the money, anyway you look at it an 18yr old with a 50yr old is sick. An 18yr old is leagal but 18yr old and 50yr old together just ain't right.
