ok this is a very common issue... most people encounter something like this (i've been through it as well)...
sometimes you can't help loving your best friend... so you need to understand your friend...but i know what you feeling... best thing to do...
sit with your friend & talk...tell her you can't be romantically involved... tell her you love her as your best friend... & you could never find any friend like her (ok sounds a little melodramatic)...but well...just talk.
i think it'll all turn out to be fine

TELL HER! If she is your friend, remember, you said she loves you! That is a very strong emotion, you do not love her, but being her friend means wanting her to be happy. She cannot "be friends" with the person she "loves" that is just asking way to much. You need to accept the fact that she may want to move on and you need to get over the possibility of losing her as a friend. No ones fault here, just how life goes sometimes. good luck

I think you should give her a chance...when you are ready. I guess you can just tell her that you are in no need for a girlfriend right now. Do not tell her that you'll only be friends. Just tell her that you don't want a girlfriend right now, but maybe later.
But of course I believe you should give her a chance when the time comes.

Tell her how you feel. Tell her that you are not ready to be in a relationship. Maybe she'll understand. Try not being too harsh
