Ok, so, this guy and I have been hanging out lately. I've known him for over a year and a half, but most of that time he was dating someone else. So even though he's been my good friend, I never thought of him that way. We "hooked up" about a week ago, and he's been really sincere about wanting to make it something more. We hung out about everyday since then, and texted a lot. He initiates most of it. Well tonight he started texting me and I said I was busy w/homework but then a couple hours later asked what he was up to. Said he was staying home that night, and I asked if I should come over. Said he wanted to be solo that night but we'll hang out tomorrow. I was cool w/it, and he texted to make sure I was. But now I feel like I made myself look too available and needy. How do I turn this around, and keep his interest?

You are over judging. From what you just described, you definitely did not make yourself feel too available and needy. All you wanted was to spend time with him.

All is well.

Nah your fine...I don't think you sounded desperate at all...You were just being polite and friendly that's all...
