There is One Truth.
"Thy Word is Truth"
(John 17:17)

"There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to one hope when you were called— one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. "

Ephesians 4:4-6

From what I have seen from studying with a wide variety of them. They each have a part of the truth. Many times their "main' doctrine is right. Baptist believe that one must be immersed to be Baptized and have an understanding of why you are being baptized. (Correct) Eternal torment.... not so much. Lutheran believe that if you believe, you do not need to punish yourself to receive forgiveness. (True) But, they believe that there are no conditions on forgiveness and that isn't true. ( we must forgive others if we expect to be forgiven) Jehovah's witness believe that God does not condone the mixing of Pagan celebrations with God's celebrations. (Correct) They also believe that you MUST witness a certain amount in a month (not biblical- God says "My yolk is easy and my burden light")

There is but one truth. It is contained in the Bible and it can only be found by searching. Looking at various doctrines, comparing them with the Bible, and coming to a logical conclusion with the help of the Holy Spirit.

As far as Christianity is concerned there is one basic belief: that Jesus Christ is God, that he resurrected from the dead (and is therefore alive today - Romans 10:9) and was born of a virgin (indicating his sinless nature).

"the truth" is currently unreachable and incomprehensible...

"the truth" from religious person is as invalid as "the truth" from a non-believer... because its not really the truth they're killing each other for, its "perception of the truth"
