I am a student, so I don't have much money to donate, but could spare a little. However, I could donate my time in an effort to raise money. I really want to help. If everyone in America decided to stop focasing so much on designer jeans and more on issues like this, there would not be such things as "Genocides."

Pray my friend. Pray. Never under estimate the power of going to God almighty and asking him to help people. God is in the business of helping people so therefore you can be confident that you're praying in accordance to his will thus you can be confident that he will hear you and respond in his own way to your prayer.

It's so great that you want to do this! Remember that people in the USA, along with the rest of the world community, helped bring down apartheid in South Africa, and helped bring to light the genocide in Eastern Europe. America has EVERYTHING to do with the genocide in Darfur, because it actually has the power to DO SOMETHING about it. Silence means approval! (hence why so many people are angry at China).

Look for the Help 4 Darfur web site -- it was started by Mia Farrow, and is a portal site to all of the various efforts by various people and organizations to stop the killings in Darfur. (I'd tell you want the URL is myself, but for some reason, I can't access google right now). And write your US Representative, your US Senators, and the President to say that this is an important issue to you and you expect the USA foreign policy and foreign aid to be focused in helping to stop the killing in Sudan!

Well, first off, Americans have NOTHING to do with the genocide in Sudan. That is a completely different culture with it's own set of in-fighting issues. America can't be blamed for everything. They do more than any other country in the form of financial aid to Africa. Take your anger and turn it into something positive. Education is the answer to it all. Help needy African students.
