I've beent aking wushu (chinese martial art) for some time now, and a friend wants to shoot a short fight scene with me and another friend who's pretty experienced. Our plan is to have the perfect blend of realistic and non-realistic things. For example, we're going to get punched FOR REAL (maybe put some padding in our gloves/hoodies/sweaters so we don't die) and get thrown into things that will break on contact. An example of non-realistic things would be doing flips, splits, and adding legit wushu techniques that would probably not be used too oftenly in real-life situations.
My question would be...for Asian martial arts fans, what would you MOST like to see in a short fight scene (low budget one at least done by young college kids)? Imagine the best fight sequence that you've ever seen. What would be in it?

It's going to be mainly hand-hand combat. It goes with a small story line so i can't just magically reach behind a corner and suddenly find an ancient staff/sword or something, but I will try to throw in some knife and stick (bo..might turn out to be a branch or something) fights. The person I'm "fighting" with isn't very advanced in weapondry so I don't want to freak him out and make him use a weapon like 3-section staff. However, we're both willing to take some damage like getting kicked in the face or thrown into a table.
