In Maryland, driving without a license costs $340. However, if you cause an accident, there will be a fine for that as well as covering any damage. Who ever owns the vehicle may be fined too. Did you hurt anyone? Hopefully you won't be so reckless in the future. Driving without a license is not fair to any of the other drivers on the roads. By the way, in Maryland just for getting caught with no license, you have to go to court, pay the fine, go to remedial driving school and automatically get 5 points on your record. That means that when you finally get to be 'legal' your insurance is going to cost a fortune. It was a stupid move. I sure hope you are apologizing all over yourself to everyone involved.

In Idaho you find out when you are ticketed how much it's gonna be. My bro got a ticket for $115 for driving without insurance. I thought that was pretty good until he went to pay it. Here the state then makes sure you always have insurance-he had to get insurance and his rates are through the roof. I think it went from $50 a month to $200 a month. (That's for a junk mobile). If he lets the insurance lapse the company reports him to the state and he loses his liscence plus has to pay another fee.If the crash was your fault you are responsible for the other vehicle's repair and possible medical bills too. My guess is that the ticket will be the smallest amount you will have to pay.

The amount of your ticket should be your least concern. Ticket fines are determined by each state but you could be facing a possible misdemeanor or felony for driving without a license or insurance. If anyone else was involved they could sue you as well. I have to ask what were you thinking? You need to get yourself a good lawyer who specializes in these types of cases to represent you. If this is your first offense maybe they'll cut you a break but you won't be driving for a long time.

You drove a car without a license and without insurance and crashed? If I say what I really think YA will delete me. What were you thinking? You could have killed someone , gotten the book thrown at you, and spent a nice vacation in the pokey, as well as ruined your life. I would give you a ticket and make you clean a two mile section of highway for a year.

Well, you will have to pay for all the damages to the other car out of your pocket, and you could possible get sued, your vehicle taken away and maybe even go to jail. If you don't have your license yet it may be a long time before you get it, but if you have it and just lost it, it will be a BIG fine and some points off...so yeah, your screwed...be more resposible next time =) hope its not too aweful for you, good luck

Ouch. This depends on the State or Country, so add that information in order to get answers. I would worry more about how much those repairs to the other car will cost you and if the other driver will sue you! In some areas everyone is self-insured, so they will be covered by their own insurance - but not every state is like that. Some states also punish you or take your license for not being insured.

Not only will you get a ticket, you will get charged with about 20 different things. Driving without a license/insurance, driving without due care, stupidity of man :p

The ticket should come out to be the typical driving without insurance charge. However you may have to pay "retribution" to the other motorist for the damage to his vehicle if the court orders it.
