He's actually in Aviemore, Scotland, where his base has been for many years now. Also home to the last herd of wild reindeer.
Santa moved to Aviemore in the late 1960's due to logistical problems relating to the toy factory supply chain and the sheer inhospitable climate up there. Operating successfuly under the cover story of a kids theme park until the late 1980's when most of the nearby vacation resort was demolished for rebuilding. The new underground toy factory and despatch faciltiy became operational at nearby Coylumbridge in 1991 and still operates to this day, however vistors are discouraged and the whole base operates under the cover story of a delicate enviromental project centering around keeping people from disturbing the wild reindeer.

Norad is the organisation that runs the missile tracking for the US - but on Christmas Eve they train their radar on Santa and you can watch him go around the world. My kids love this site and its always a good way to get them to bed on Christmas Eve .... before santa pops up over the horizon.

hey, i thought everyone knew where santa was. this dude is all over the place. he is everywhere, and guess what else? he is around everyday dec 25 is when he really comes out and celebrates the children.
