You can sing the song again, or if you want to create duplicate tracks in the same song, you can create a new track from the "Tracks" menu and copy from from one track and paste it into your new track.

You can select all, then copy and paste it as a new audio track underneath the first but if you have drums on the first track it will double thos etoo....... If you offset the two tracks you can get a echo effect (sort of like tape delay echo) Also you can download or try a program called LP Recorder which will record your audacity files as they play.

You could play back and record, or you could record on another file, then copy & paste it to another track in the file with the original vocals.

audacity has an effect called chorus. this is the effect that you need.

of course, when the beatles did it, there was no chorus in the studio, so they recorded themselves twice.

i personally like the "record yourself again" option, depending on what you are doing. it's more real.

btw, i don't think the copy and paste option will give you the effect you want. chorus effects introduce a slight frequency variation, which really allows it to sound like two voices.

yup that's it.
Just play it back from where the vocals start and sing over the original vocals. That will automatically create a new sound clip.
