I don't know why I am consistantly amazed how people are so eager to prove themselves right and others wrong. Yet, as I read the posts here, and in other parts of Yahoo! I see this happen all the time. I occassionally am heartend by posts which allow others their own viewpoints, opinions, beliefs etc.
Just because you can't see something does not mean it does not exist. It use to be the assumption the world was flat, that one would fall off the edge of the world if one cruised to far in a ship, and the idea of phones, computers, and modern health care would have gotten one burned at the stake.
Who knows, perhaps one day there will be definative proof of God. However, currently, "proof" of God goes against the entrre Plan to allow each of His children to find their own way and path, whether that way and path takes them to God or away from Him. There simply isn't any need for faith if there was proof of God's existence, which would negate the entire purpose of our being here.
OK, I firmly, 100% believe that God loves atheists as much as any of His other children. It matters not if these folks believe in Him or not. It matters not how some wish to ridicule those who do believe in God, or accuse them, us, of needing a God for a crutch. I have found in my life's journey, that the more intelligent one is, the more difficult it is to believe in God.
For me, this means that the journey is that much more difficult for those "gifted" with intelligence. My step daughter is retarded, and she is one of the happiest people I have had the pleasure to know. She does not question God's existance, but takes His existance as the utter truth and is puzzled by those who do not. She simply is blessed with her less intelligence. Sometimes I envy her her developmental challanges. I wonder why people call them "challenges" when she is utterly content, happy, and joyfull. How does this challenge her? lol
It seems to me that people with higher levels of intelligence are the ones who are really challenged. lol
Yeah, I truly believe God loves us all. He is a parent, and as such is concerned over the welfare and happiness of his children, as well as wishing us to excel in this life and grow as much as we possibly can. Belief or lack thereof does not change our growth in all areas, only in our spiritual growth and development. While this is a huge area, all will have the oportunity to see the truth when the time arrives.
My husband's father had a great saying: "There is a place for perfect people and I am not ready to be there yet." Well, he is there now, and has been the past twenty five years.
There are a great many mysteries in life, and anyone who proffesses to know all there is to know, well, in mho know the least. I once thought I knew most I needed to know about life and the world. However, as I age, the more I realize I know practically nothing at all. There is simply far to much in this one small world for one lifetime to learn it all. It would take hundreds of lifetimes to learn all there is to know, and as mentioned before, this is only one small planet.
As we mature and grow in our world, we learn more and more about how small we really are. Why not allow each of us to find our own paths, and stop attempting to declare one way the only way and everyone who does not agree is somehow wrong, evil, or simply bad? Jeeze Louise!
How immature is it to declare oneself right and everyone else who does not agree, wrong?
God loves all of us, it is as simple as that in my opinion. It matters not if people wish to not believe in Him. He still loves them.

Everything in this universe had a beginning, so that's all we are capable of understanding. According to all the known laws of physics, etc., every thing , every action, must have had a cause. However, God is not a "part" of this universe. He is the One who created it. Where is he from? We don't know, what else is there besides him? We don't know. How is it possible he could have always existed? We don't know. God is not from this physical universe and he is therefore not bound by its physical laws (such as the law that requires every action to have an equal and opposite reaction, etc.) God is not physical, he is spiritual. That statement right there should be enough to stop any sort of argument from any atheistic scientist, because how can a person scientifically define a spirit being??? It can't be done, it's not a part of this universe, we don't have any concept for it, we have no frame of reference, we have no science for that. The people here who are arguing that "if God didn't need a beginning then the universe didn't need a beginning" that statement goes against all the laws in this universe and you know it. The absolute undeniable proof of God is that there has to be a first cause of anything and everything that has ever happened in this universe. But outside of this universe? We don't know, and we don't need to know. We have been given everything we will ever need to live a happy and full life in this universe so vast and complex that we could spend an eternity exploring it and never see it all.

If God is the insecure, judgmental jerk that many people make him about to be, then God probably doesn't like atheists very much. He probably prefers people who sycophantically kiss his ***.
If God is secure and not a jerk, then he probably regards atheists like a celebrity regards those who are not in their fan demographic. Nas probably isn't losing any sleep over senior citizens not buying his albums, and God probably isn't losing any sleep over atheists not believing in him.
And if God is nonexistent he can't think anything and your question is totally moot.

B. Proposition A implies that God thinks
C. Proposition B implies that if God thinks, he would waste his time on your question.
