How do you mellow out just before talking with the good looking guy you like? I tend to think too much, which creates some type of stutter.. although it only occurs on the first word. By the middle of the conversation, I'm flat out comfortable.

It's obviously something everyone gets when talking with their crush. But have any tips!? Thanks :)

You're always going to have that little feeling when a cute boy walks up to you, and talks to you. But, try not to over analize it all soo much. Just act like he's any other boy. I know it's hard to think about. But it really flows, I'm really friendly with guys, because they are soo easy to get along with. So really, I don't have any pre-jitter nerves. Maybe you should practice talking to more guys, like .. just randomly. Just, don't worry about it ; he's not gonna stop liking you because of some stupid stutter, your worrying is what is making it. So don't worry, just sit back and relax ; and what's meant to happen, will happen. :]

When I stutter while talking to a pretty girl I just say "Sorry, I tend to get nervous when talking to pretty girls." Though maybe that's not the best approach...

Your best bet is just to talk to him more often, especially in low-stress environments, until your fully comfortable being around him.

Take deep breaths!
ahah Seriously, it calms my nerves.
And I don't think the stutter will go away ;]
It's just natural to be really shy/nervous.
I don't think you can get rid of it, but breathing deep gets rid of the knots in my tummy :)

Breathe and chill out. Those butterflies are normal but maybe you could use that as a hint to the fellow.

It's all about confidence. I put my Diva act on. I always start with sarcasm, jokes, and fun. If you get him laughing you feel more comfortable and can chill out once you get into conversation.
