there is this guy i like and my friend thought it would be funny to go and tell him i like him..but it isnt! anyway i want him to no i like him but on the other hand i dont cuz im scared to have a broken heart. what should i do?
listen to my mind which is telling me to forget him or listen to my heart which is telling me to tell him i like him....HELP PLEASE! im stuck!

Wow! Great friend! Well, the cat is out of the bag. Next time your around him, pay attention to his demeanor and body language. Does he seem to want to be near you and interact with you? Or... is he stand-offish and avoiding contact all together? These elements will tell you whether or not you should move forward with it, and tell him your feelings.
Oh FYI the the guy up there that used the word "Conceited" completely out of context. Buy a dictionary. How would any of this deem her, conceited?

Just tell him you like him. My thinking is that you will never know if you dont take the risk. THere might be a reward. He might like you too and without asking, you might never know. Just give it a shot, and dont be heart broken if he says no. There are many other guys out there for you,.

broken heart? You haven't even gone on a date with this guy. Yes, rejection might be involved, but honestly if he doesn't want you to begin with then he never really mattered.

1. Be sure he likes you! If he doesn't you'll end up with one broken heart and turn Scarlet red due to sheer embarrassment or, in some cases, rejection.
2. Ask his friends whether he likes different girls in your class(go down a list of girls to ask, e.g. Dana, Michelle, Megan, Phoebe etc.).
3. If you realize he may like you,slip hints(like a cook up a nice conversation on something simple, like homework on in a class), when you walk past him or when talking to him, brush against him "accidentally"!
4. Further on, you need to give him a look.(Make sure it's not scary by practicing with your friends) Hold the look for about 2 seconds,then look away. 3 seconds later repeat that step and then look at him 1 final time to see if he is looking back your way!
5. If you're sure he likes you, you can get a friend to tell him (preferably a friend who he has known for a while)
6. If you have his number, leave him a flirty voicemail!
7. Start sitting next to him whenever you get the chance try to make something you two can bond over. Dont get too clingy and always sit with him just remember he has his mates and you dont want to annoy him.
8. Always believe him, unless it sounds kind of shady.
9. Don't try too hard... no guy likes a girl over-trying or desperate. Even if you are, play it 'cool-n-casual' and act laid back.

* Try not to flirt with other guys during this time. It will make him feel like you do not like him and he will back off.
* DO NOT, tell him you like him by email or a note. If you do this you are just asking him to ask you everything this way.
* Guys like it when you are flirty.
* Try looking at him.
* If he likes you he may stare back into your eyes, or look quickly at you at glance away.
* Don't talk about anything lovey-dovey in front of his friends, because they will probably tease him.

Uhh...kiss him, what's there to lose, if he already knows that you like him, he must either like you too, or be okay with it, If he didn't like you, he'd probably be freaking the hell out. I say go for it.

you should just act cool around him, this once happened to me. when i was around him people would ask me if i liked him an i said yes because i didn't care! just go for it!
