You'll probably think I'm crazy, but I tried this the other week, and it actually works for spot treatment: diaper rash ointment, like Desitin. It clears the pimple right up and doesnt turn red and blotchy. It's made of zinc oxide, which is a healer of chapped or irritated skin.

Aspirin contains Beta hydroxy acid which is a powerful defoliant ,so you can crush 1to 2 Aspirin tablets mix with a little water and apply on pimples for 15 minutes and wash. More such solutions at http://solutionsforpimples.blogspot.com/

Many of the creams you apply may be drying. Try Benzyl Peroxide cream and just dot it on blemishes so that the rest of your skin is not exposed.
