It is a very difficult situation for any country to be in when it comes to lessening emissions to save the planet earth. Governments in several nations such as Australia, New Zealand, Costa Rica and Panama are continually trying hard to not to spread pollution in order to safeguard their environments. China, Brazil, India, Mexico and USA are the largest contributors towards carbon emissions.

China and US should try to levy the risks of various diseases and the spread of pollutants in the atmosphere. China's cities are copying American and European cities by building cities that do not hinder their progress for the future. Nevertheless, both China and USA failed to understand the need of the protocols of several international organisations such as Greenpeace and WWF (Woldwide Fund for Nature).

However, the problem lies in the corruption and continuous spread of companies worldwide. This is very much true in the case of United States and China. China has become an epicentre for multinationals from the USA and Europe. Thus, this has led to the widespread of harmful pollutants within Chinese cities. Major cities like Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Chongching and Janjing have suffered the worst.

America and China would have to work as a team. Their governments would have to join forces with the rest of the world and pursue global programmes in spreading the message of clean earth. They will have to look into various strategies that would indeed improve their natural environments. Consequently, this would encourage China and USA realise the potential dangers of climate change. Moreover, the Chinese and American governments must take serious note of other countries doing well in the field of environmental protection efforts such as Australia and New Zealand. They would have to put their efforts noticeably aimed at a time clock before it is too late and that carbon emissions cause collosal damage to the entire continents.

Carbon dioxide emission is a serious hazard we are responsible for.The Ozone layer is affected greatly threatening the the earth's climatic condition and reducing the chance of survival of many species.
USA (specifically, Mr. Bush , the President0 is singularly more irresponsible than most other countries of the world.I remember,Mr.Bush saying soon after becoming President (by default) , "USA will not follow the Kyoto Protocol any more , because this is against the US interest".....(what a stupid comment it was).
He forgot ot didn't know that USA was one of the first initiator of Carbon dioxide emission to protect the ozone layer and avoid the disaster the world is heading towards.
Recent Meet on this by all countries in Japan is trying to find ways and means to control such harmful emission.....US Representatives are also there.God knows what will happen if the countries mainly responsible for creating "Green House Effect" do not perform their duty in this regard.
USA, China,India,Brazil and many Western European Countries are not going by the agreed principles laid down in Kyoto Protocol.
There is no specific method/answer to the problem unless all the countries do not voulntarily refrain from "Carbon Emission problem".

I believe the nations will not be able to effect changes needed due to heavy dependence on fossil fuels (oil, coal etc) until there is a suitable ALTERNATIVE
that is LESS COSTLY, easily available
and user-friendly i.e. offers much improvement / benefits.

Heavy taxation merely penalises the poor and holds back development.

Until world leaders know about / understand
what that ALTERNATIVE IS,
we are all playing a very dangerous game of waiting till time runs out!

To save the planet earth is the answer-but the world need's a strong world gov't. to enforce global (human) law. Corporate law would have to change it's structure so that accountability is the first prerequisite to enable green and clean. If we don't have a world gov't. by 2050 (if the world is still salvageable) we will not see mankind survive much longer, under the hypervelocity of change that 's happening, but no one able to stop the carbonization that corporation's are doing, so a good prez of USA say Gore wouldn't do much better than bush-in fact the world would need to police all polluter's, not just USA CHINA SAUDI RUSSIA INDIA 80percent dirty....

China is starting to come around. It has dawned on them that bankrupting their customers with the effects of global warming is not good for business. Expect them to maneuver for an advantage in negotiations, though.

The US Senate is considering a fairly serious global warming bill. But I'd bet what passes will be a weak compromise. As stated above real action in the US will begin 20 January, 2009.

This man made global warming is a complete hoax.
Politically I have not been active in anybodies campaign in a long, long time but if we pass something this stupid I'm going to get busy and support candidates that won't cave to it.
