to fix a passenger side door on a 2001 Nissan Sentra?

I got T-boned today. The bottom half of the front passenger side is SMASHED in.

Any estimates? Thanks :-)

It was his fault. I was making a left turn with a green arrow. His light was red, he ran it, and ran into me. The cop was lazy, and decided that NOBODY was at fault. *Sigh*.

Are you OK? If it wasn't your fault then the other guy will have to pay for it. it depends, is it just the door or is it part of the fender too? You'd be better off paying your insurance deductible then it wouldn't matter. You will need a new door and that may cost a little, then paint job then the shop charges (labor, parts, tools, etc..) I wrecked my Nissan Altima and it cost me about $800 to fix it. Good luck and get written estimates.

I cannot see if the door post or rocker panel also got moved. Your have to get it to a body shop for a estimate. Then if the damage is only the door have some one get a complete door and install it. You might even find the same color. Just make sure it has either electric window to match your car or manual window to match. Use your inside door panel or not. Doors sell for what the market will pay.
