i've told him i don't really have feelings for him and it's not serious. he loves me so much he doesnt want to leave though. he wants to be with me at every opportunity. it feels a bit like he's desperate. does he have no self-respect?

No, but he's got an unhealthy attitude about you. Be careful not to give mixed signals, be calm, polite but firm. Don't talk to him alone. Call some of his friends and get them to rally around him. He needs his friends now to help him get control and focus on something else.

This is a huge red flag for you. A normal man would be gone. He is refusing to go and won't allow you to be on your own. A bit desperate? It's way beyond that. Be polite to him, but firm. Tell him it's over and he needs to accept that. People like him are messed up, controlling, and potentially can cause you a lot of trouble. Suggest you find a way to get him out of the house, change the locks and don't let him back in. Don't be afraid to call the police or file for harassment either.

Why does your ex-boyfriend want to stay with you so much? Did he cheat on you or what? Your ex-boyfriend is probably having a hard time with the break up and want to work it out, but since you say it is over then you need to tell him to back off or you going to get a restraining order against him...

No he dont and he is clingy too.My ex was like that - I swear I could have killed his mother and he STILL would have been with me....In the end I had to make him hate me which was not nice but for god sake's if he acted more like a man at the end then maybe we could have been friends...He said he would kill himself if I dont get back with him so I said 'Ok, can I have your Xbox 360?' He could not believe it. Maybe you are not telling your ex in a harsh way stop being nice x

He doesn't feel the same way as you do for him, so of course it's going to be hard for him to just instantly move on. You won't understand him unless you were dumped by the one you really loved.

some time you don't think of thing like that when your in love. tell him that the way he's acting is putting you off him even more he should get the massage but be nice it sounds like the poor guy is hurting anuff!

Just because you don't have feelings any longer,doesn't mean he's in the same place.
Just tell him again that you're not interested (nicely, but firmly) and the topic is not open for discussion any more.
