Do your dogs have any weird behaviors, obsessions, or just do something funny? If so, what?

I have a Blackmouth Cur and he takes my Spaniel's leash in his mouth and will walk him around the yard for hours, and never gets bored. And he climbs trees, kind of like how a bear does it, like hugging it kind of. I dont know why he does it, but it is really funny to watch.

How about you?

i have a toy poodle who will roll over and submit when you say "punt" to him. i have a Labrador who is mostly blind and real laid back but she gets really excited when you say words that start with the letter "L". i have a standard poodle who plays dead when he gets in trouble (like chewing on things, etc) but he wont do it on command otherwise. and i have a mutt who is afraid of smoke. we are a non smoking household, except occasionally i will have a cigar, and she will run and hide under the tv stand, the couch, anywhere and not come out for hours. i have a crazy bunch of dogs, and don't get me started on my cats!

Some dogs just have some weird OCD behavior traits. Its an individual thing and not a breed thing. My cocker spaniel would not only drag his bowl three inches from where it normally is but would pull his kibble from the bowl and eat 5-6 pieces at a time. My uncle's shih-tzu would never eat any of his treats when first given to him unless it was sardines otherwise he would go stash them somewhere and then take two at a time out and eat them on his spot in front of the tv. Chalk it up to the fact the dog likes fishing for 5-6 rocks at a time.

my boston terrier has an obsession with a purple ball...but it HAS to be purple or she wont care about it...and if i say purple ball she cries and she knows we hide it in the closet we have to or she obsessevly stares at me it will go on for HOURS! no joke...and when we give it to her she rolls it everywhere and she gets on top of it and rolls it backwards with her front legs just like a human...im being dead serious! we have no clue why she does this but shes done it since she was a very small puppy...and when we first got her we had a cat and she would lick him in the face constantly he finally ran away but we now have another cat and we decided to keep it inside and she does the same thing to it...it has to run from her so she cant get to it...sne also has this weird thing when we're sitting on the couch she sometimes comes up and stands in our face and puts her face in our face as if shes saying shes sorry or something but she does it when we dont even fuss at her and when we tell her no and push her away she comes back and does it even more?

Non of that sounds wierd to me. My Border Collie used to climb trees with me. And my Lab would be happy just to hold his leash and wait to go.
