Hey Lasurus, no, not a trick, just curious. I was speaking on the phone with a few friends tonight and a couple of them really value their possessions. I was just curious. Peace.

Mostly people, but sometimes I just prefer things. I don't have many things, though. It's hard to explain.

I live in San Diego, CA and a lot of people lost their "things" in the recent wild fires. Thankfully I wasn't one of them. Anyway, after a home is burned down material "things" can be replaced, but you can't replace the lives that have been lost.

Therefore, people are DEFINITELY more important to me. It's the people that I have in my life who encourage me during the hard times and remind me that God loves me and has my best interest at heart even when I don't recognize it. I'd give up my "things" for the people in my life any day =)

People

Most items can be replaced and if they can't, oh well - they're only things. I would miss some of them, I would hope to replace them or have something similar but you can't replace people.

Each person is a treasure - sometimes frustrating, sometimes delightful and each unique.

The things

This is an economically driven life in a material world, whether we like it or want to admit it or not.

A million friends is worth more than a million dollars.

A friend will usually give you 2 bucks if you ask.
