A lot more than most people. The bible is not a source at all. I learn from history scholars who have traveled to the areas where he was reported to be.

If the Bible is the only source then ur just as narrow-minded as the Bible and that's the life u deserve......u wanna b educated then read as many books as possible, travel, talk to ppl
open ur mind, use ur power of reason.....sheesh...that's how we are separate from all other organisms....why would u turn it back in and just live off of faith??

To study the Life of Christ in the 4 Gospels without considering the Eastern influence and the Eastern method of teaching (Teacher-Disciple tradition) leads to a complete distortion of what was actually going on.
In fact, I would say that this very PRIVATE method of teaching is at the very heart of the Gospels. In this kind of tradition, PRIVATE spiritual practices are passed along... and those who read about it later have no idea that it took place.
Jesus said, those who worship God must worship in Spirit and in Truth. And of course as their teacher, he PRIVATELY taught his own disciple HOT TO DO IT. That's the part we don't have... and this is why Christians these days are facing such a difficult road... they have the superficial words of the Gospel, but they don't have the spiritual practices that were BEHIND those words.
This resource will explain the situation... and cover the more private world of Jesus and his disciples.
And thanks for asking such an interesting question.

Besides the Holy Bible, I have The Book of Mormon, Another testament of Jesus Christ, Pearl of Great Value, Doctrine and
Covenants, canonic sacred scriptures that I testify to be true.
But the most important of all resources I have had , The confirmation of The Holy Ghost .He has helped me to understand the teachings of Jesus and revealed to me the true about it. This way we don't depend on men to discern truth in this or any circumstance. The Holy Ghost 's mission is to teach, guide, confirm, inspire, protect, reveal, comfort, heal, and help us to discern truth. Jesus himself is the one reaching us trough this wonderful being, that works as an agent of the God that is our Heavenly and also agent of our older brother and redeemer, Jesus Christ.

What I know about Jesus is what I believe about Him, and the Bible and the Holy Spirit within in me are my sources, as well as the witness of fellow Christians.

The Bible is my primary source, but there are supporting sources, historical documents such as the works of Josephus. There are also gnostic writings, but they have very little credibility in my eyes.

jesus life not just the bible as the only source.. as well the catholic church keeps the tradtions from apostles.. those oral traditions.. we can find jesus living with their parents in nazareth, working with his step father joseph and his mother mary keeping her secret about the nature of Jesus..some gospels that were not acceptable in the christian canon by the church like saint james gospel.. we can find the story of the virgin mary before jesus.. and jesus child
