I have been on 25mgs one at night before bed for two years. Really helps with the pain and because I get a good nights sleep can still do my three mile walk. If anything I have lost weight! I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, Fibro, Peripheral neuropathy and disc prolapse. I still think the problem is too high a dose. From what I have read many people start off on 75 mgs, or 125 mgs! I am also on Valium 2mgs at night to relax the muscles and Fentanyl to kill the pain from the disc sitting on the nerve roots. Good Luck

I tried one dose of Lyrica. In the next 3 days I gained 8 pounds of water before it started coming off. The first moring my arm felt scalded and was too painfull to wear clothing. My shoulders and back felt sunburned. The pain in my hands increased to the point that I couldn't open jars I could open the day before. And the old fibrofog was back like the bad old days. All this on a single 75mg dose. After 4 days off I'm back to normal.

Results will vary.

I took 75 mg 2x daily and did fine. Gained 8 lbs. Then they bumped me to 150 mg 2x daily...too much for me. I felt drunk!

I used it for a while with moderate results. It can cause swelling in your feet and can cause dizziness.
