Yesterday I received an e-mail notification about my e-mail address had won a lottery in UK with half a million pounds winning. They said the lottery is e-mail addresses lottery and I won just like that. They wanted me to claim my winning money, and since I'm not living in UK territory, they wanted to set up a transit account in Barclay bank on my behalf, then (according to them), I can arrange the transfer to my own personal bank account through Barclay's internet banking. Personally I don't believe it. It's too easy to be true. But IF it's true, half a million pounds is a great deal of money. Please share your opinions.

It is absolutely a fraud. What you have received is an email from some deviant who wants to phish your personal information or scam you into sending them money. Your best bet is to delete the email or even forward to your email provider so that they can try to eliminate that particular person from forwarding them on.

I have no opinion...I have facts...This is a common SCAM. DO NOT give them any information. Do not make any further contact with them. You did not enter how could you win?

It is a scam. I get this junk all of the time. Whatever you do, do not give them your information. If you do, you are setting yourself up for identity theft.

No, this is not true. I have seen some ads recently on TV warning against this exact scenario. It sounds too good to be true--it is!
