Traditional Medicinals makes a tea called Throat Coat -- it has slippery elm and licorice in it, and is wonderful for your voice, before or after a performance (as an interpreter I would drink it all the time when I had a lot of voicing to do). You can find the TM brand in most grocery stores, in the natural foods section, or at pharmacies.
Good luck!

~Many operatic singers make an infusion of lavender, eucalyptus, white or green tea and honey. They inhale the steam from the tea through the nose (not the mouth) and then sip the tea. Don't drink very hot tea, only warm tea. Excessive heat can affect the vocal cords.

Nothing soothes your throat than fresh ginger slices in hot water and a teaspoon of the freshest honey (unpasteurized if you can find some) you can buy.
