About 3 weeks ago I applied for job and did not have any convictions or crimes committed. Well on Monday the 10th I plead no contest in a felony theft because I didn't want to risk losing in a jury trail and go to prison. I had a interview today, December 11th, 1 day after my plea. I want to know,

Will that conviction will appear on a background check within the next few days?

It depends on if they have already run the background check. You can pretty much assume that if they run it after the interview, they'll see it.

Or, they may not actually run one depending on the sensitivity of your job.

A "Failure to look" is a warrant for his arrest, and subsequently might seem in maximum history exams. Your pal's potential employers do no longer understand the tale in the back of the warrant, only that he it looks he would not guard his criminal subject concerns. Screw waiting to save money for a lawyer. save it for his bond and guard the warrant now. Have him ensue on the jurisdiction the place the warrant grew to become into issued, bond him out with a clean courtroom date. relying on the jurisdiction could take a quick mutually as, yet would be greater valuable than getting arrested on the warrant. be certain he is going to courtroom whilst scheduled. Its genuine consumer-friendly to get caught in a sprial of warrants, arrests etc, exceedingly if he's using on a suspended license (based on your different question), the place the fees and fines only save including up. solid good fortune.

If I were you, I'd tell my employer anyway.

Your future boss probably reads the police blotter, you know.
