You can go to www.military.com and they have a list of things you should ask your recruiter. From what I understand you can have someone go to MEPS with you when you sign your final contract. If not just ask the person there to explain everything word for word and make sure anything you want or were promised are in writing.

First look at what job you want, is it on the contract? If so, are any bonus' you were promised on the contract? Is the term of service what you were told it would be? If so, you're good sign on up.

Some jobs (MOS) offer A LOT MORE BONUS money tham others. However, DO NOT SELECT A JOB JUST B?C THE BONUS IS HIGHER. Pick a job skill you want to learn. You will have to perform this job LONG AFTER your bonus money is gone.

When you join you will get the original copy of your contract, so this will make it a lot harder for them to screw you out of anything since you will have that proof of what you are being guarenteed.

Look for everything they promised you in your contract. If it isn't there, you aren't getting it. People get the bonuses listed in their contract. There might be a delay, but they get them.
