HE hides files and then asks about them to make me feel stupid. He gets co workers to tell him any comments I make against him.
He tells me I can't laugh in the office because it proves I don't take my job seriously.

I know times are hard in the work force right now but I would look for another job. Before I left that place though, I would ask him what was wrong with him.I've had bosses that no one liked because of the way they acted. I faced them with their actions and four times out of the four that this happened, the boss actually got a lot nicer.I think part of it was knowing that they were not very well liked. Everyone wants to be liked really.

I would remain silent and continue on working, but start looking for a job where you will be respected and happy at least most of the time. Some people have such a mean disposition. I feel so sorry for you...Good Luck, this will take a little time but it will be worth it.....

Why do you still work there? Clearly, he's trying to get rid of you.
So, go out on your own time and start looking for some other job. After you get one, just quit this one.

hang in there babe!!! i am on the same boat......waiting for another ship. mine wont come in till august of 08. i feel ur pain. stop talking to ur coworkers on how u really "feel". and b the most postitive person and happy go lucky person u can possibly b, till ur other ship comes in!!! ( no nead for brown nosing ) just start looking for something better. gl luck with it all
