What's wrong with saying Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays? It's getting very ridiculous because the holiday's are based on the birth of Jesus Christ our saviour. It's becoming very stupid because there's no commerials or anything drawing the costumers into the stores. Now, it's like a ghost town everywhere you go. What happen to the spirit of the Lord. Just because a set of people don't believe in God doesn't mean that it should be spoiled for the rest. In essence, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

It's not ABOUT stapling a religious label on things. It's about the spirit of the Lord, NOT about a giant Fat Man in a red suit.

There is nothing wrong with saying Merry Christmas and what you say is so true. I agree. The ones who are against what you say, are real Heathens. They try to fight against what all of us have been taught. I wonder what their parents would think, if they could see how heathenistic their children are ? The anti-christ is trying it's best to change everything in regards to good. God's children need to stay strong and fight for what they believe in. The goodness of people who believe in God, will win.

Wow, did you just equate Christian sentiment with getting people out to stores? You are unique. Most Christians despise the commercialization of the religious event. Prasie the Lord and get ye to Wal-Mart.
I think the whole "Happy Holidays" thing is exageratted. Stories of stores refusing to allow staff to say Merry Christmas are really few and far between, most stores around here (Ottawa, Canada) are laden with Christmas decorations. There really isn't such a rampant anti "Merry Christmas" movement for Christians to get paranoid about.

The spirit of the anti-Christ is alive and well. When people who are Christian believe that tolerance means giving up your rights not to offend other people. Merry Christmas!
By the way Jesus is the reason for the season not the com. side of it.

WHAT??
It sounds like you are saying that Christmas is essentially about the birth of Christ in one sentence "...because the holiday's are based on the birth of Jesus Christ our saviour."
...and then in the next sentence, you are complaiing that there isn't enough consumerism "It's becoming very stupid because there's no commerials or anything drawing the costumers into the stores."
What is your point???

particular,Christmas is touching directly to the start of Jesus Christ our Saviour and quickly coming KING!!! Don,t concern touching directly to the labeled commercials as long as you have the Spirit of the lord in you. in simple terms Pray for persons that don,t have self belief because of the fact God stated he,s not keen that ANY ought to parish. It,s very wonderful to furnish and recieve presents with acquaintances and family contributors besides the undeniable fact that it,s even extra advantageous to recieve the present of Salvation from our Lord and Saviour and we ought to desire for them and get the observe out that Jesus is our Saviour. i might particularly be attentive to that I led somebody to Christ than to fret approximately labeled commercials and shops. Please don,t misunderstand,i think of Christmas is excellent yet time is short and We,ve have been given to initiate focusing on the reason and objective of Christmas and proportion God,s Love. Merry Christmas and God Bless.

Only ONE of the holidays at this time of year is based on Jesus Christ - Christmas. Hannukah, Kwanza (spelling?) and New Years to name a few have NOTHING TO DO with Jesus.
But you statement proves the problem. Some Christians think that their belief system and holidays are the center of the Universe. They are not.

I'm sorry, but I truly didn't understand any of that. "Now, it's like a ghost town everywhere you go." -- Um, where exactly is this happening? What are you talking about?
