Firstly....What trouble is he in before??? If it is criminal, then you should avoid him, until he can prove that he's no longer into crimes for more than 15 years =)
If he's in a smaller troubles, or non-criminal troubles, then you'll have to decide if you are able to accept those stuff. Decide the goods and bads of accepting those troubles. After that, decide to put trust base on your analysis. However, if after analyzing and still doubt about it, then just forget about him =)
You probably can get advice from parents or teachers, but remember....don't ask much from peers, unless you're sure that they're good friends. Ultimately, you have to decide where you choose to place your trust. Others can only give you advice =)
Take care =)

What was he in trouble for? What type of vibe do you get from him? Who are his friends and are they nice people? People do change and most of us wouldn't want to be judged on our past mistakes, However, I think it would be a good idea to check him out and see if he is headed in a better direction now. Trust your gut.

well if he wants you to hang out at midnight I probably won't trust him. But hang out where? If you have to ask if you can trust him shows that you probably don't. Just stay away from trouble makers b/c they will take you down with them.

How old are you? If you're under 17 then hell no. He's just looking for some ***. Generally if you have to ask this question then the answer is no.
