You can actually use Dawn dish detergent or Palm Olive (as long as the palm olive dish detergent isnt the anti-bacterial kind.)

Avoid the face/ears, and pick the fleas off that don't come off the kitten. Towel dry them. I've done this about three times, and my kittens seem fine now. Also, I stay with the kittens until they've completly dried, and since the bathroom is pretty small. I keep them in there, because it would be the warmest place for them.

Also vacuum and clean everything/every where you allow the kitten to go.

The link below is where I found this information.

You can bath the kitten in warm anti-bacterial dish soap, all you need to do is drown the fleas and as you wash the little guy the fleas will make their way to his head simply pick off the few that make it there. Do not use anything to kill the fleas on the kitten as the kitten is to young, Make sure you pick up where the kitten was to try and remove the fleas from his bedding.
you will have to dry the kitten after though so it doesn't get cold, don't leave it to dry itself.
also a lice comb is good too.

It's great that you want to help this kitten, but instead of letting this kitten loose again, why not take her to an animal shelter? They will be able to treat her for fleas and anything else there and hopefully some one will adopt her! If you want you could even ask if there was some way you could keep in contact with the people who do adopted her! Good luck!

Bathe the kitten in original Dawn dish detergent. Then carefully clean out the ears with a tissue and a bit of alcohol.

Just don't get it in the baby's eyes.

Some of your products such as Frontline can be used on young kittens of this age. I use one squirt, spray it into my hand and rub it over the kitten.

If you are against using chemicals, wash him thoroughly in warm water and use a baby shampoo or mild pet shampoo on him. Bring him out of the water and wrap him in a towel.

Get a glass of water with a squirt of dishwashing liquid or shampoo in it and put it where you can reach it easily. Grab a flea comb or nitcomb and comb it through his fur. Each flea that comes out, drop into the water. It kills them quite easily.

Next, I would mix together a spray bottle of water with about six drops of tea tree oil in and gently spray on him.

The only thing you can do with him being so young is to take him to the vet. I know that's probably not what you wanted to hear, but they don't make anything OTC that you can use on a cat that young.

Take it to the groomers. if the fleas are in your house you should take em to the groomers and flea bomb your house or call an exterminator if you can afford it.
