there is all the ones in the UK as far as formal schools (I think)
If one is not in your area you can look for training groups. Training groups are people using DVDs and going to seminars

Sorry mate... You've gotten a lot of bad answers by people who don't know trying to convince you to do something else. Systema is based around two concepts: specialized breathing, and the wave (the contractions or flexions of certain muscles only as they need to be engaged to keep the body loose to receive attacks, deliver powerful strikes, and continuously move yourself to a safer place). There is wrestling and striking in systema. There is also weapon work (fighting with sticks and knives, mostly, as well as knife, razorblade, shovel, and axe throwing), fighting in different terrain (water, confined spaces, woods, etc). In Vladimir Vasiliev's school, everyone trains together, regardless of ability, so you simply show up to the class to train. It is good once you let the process take over and work for you. If you're one of those people who walks in, tries it for five minutes, can't get it to work, and summarily declares it the biggest load you've ever seen, then it probably won't be for you. Do yourself a huge favor though -- go and try a class. See what it's like and talk to other people who are participating in it. You'll learn more there than you will from a bunch of armchair warriors telling you how much better their art is.
