Mine started with Jesus appointing St. Peter as the rock on which he would build his Church (Matt 16:18).

Here's what happened after that (click any name in blue for details):

After Christs death there was, eventually an apostasy.

Nearly 2000 years later, in Palmyra, New York, there was religious revival which lead to great deal of confusion for a young man named Joseph Smith. Eventually, after reading James1:5 he decided to go and pray in the woods near his house. When praying he had a struggle to speak his prayer and his faith was rewarded with a vision from God and His Don Jesus Christ. They told him to join none of the church that existed at the time. For several years he continued to study and pray, and then He was visited by the angel Moroni who told him where the plates that the book of mormon was writen on were. He was instructed to retrieve and translate them - but first he needed 4 years of instruction to prepare him. Eventually he receive the plates and translated the Book of Mormon. Then in 1830 (I think) with just 6 members he established the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and lead it as a prophet, seer and revelator. From 6 members we now have more than 13 million world wide.

The Jewish faith was started by Avraham Avinu in Genesis when he left the land of his forefathers and went to Eretz Yisrael and began to follow HaShem instead of worshipping idols like his father did.

The Bible says that the church is the believers physically.

So the history of the only true church that ever existed is starting with the words of Jesus and continues with me, for instance.

Catholicism teaches a false gospel of works that leads to eternal hell (Galatians 1).

Jesus came to Earth from Heaven in the form of a man. It was prophesied that He would do that.

He gathered certain people to follow Him and learn from Him, and they did.

After that, those people went through the trying time of Jesus being crucified. They still didn't understand what was going on, only a woman who anointed Him for His burial did.

After Jesus raised from the dead, those who Jesus taught came together and believed and understood better what He was talking about all along, except for one.

After Jesus ascended into Heaven, He sent the Holy Spirit down to Earth, He said He did that because He wouldn't be on Earth any longer. And He always keeps His promises, so the Holy Spirit came down to Earth to live with the people on the Earth.

The disciples who followed Jesus began to preach about Jesus. Almost all of them eventually died because they preached that message.

The long line of believers continued on the Earth, many of them were put to death because they also preached Jesus Christ to anyone who was willing to listen. Some of those who were not willing to listen killed the one's who preached the message.

A little later, the Bible was produced by those who were scholarly and knowledgeable in the scriptures. They began to discuss many things concerning what the Bible would contain in it, some of what they did was good, and some of what they did was really, really bad.

One of the really bad things was to politicize the words of the Bible. They sought to make it against the law for anyone to believe any other thing. They began to persecute those who did not like the message of the Magisterium, which included many things from Pagan religions. People do that sometimes, they take a truth and make is something else. It may take years, but eventually you can't recognize it from what it once was.

The people of truth protested, and eventually the Magisterium decided that they need to kill people for disagreeing with them.

That's where I come in. Though it's been thousands of years, I believe what the Bible says. The Magisterium thinks that I am wrong, but they don't really go around killing people who disagree with them any more.

So I am here, telling people about Jesus, and not trying to sell "The Church" like it was important. or like it's a whore on a corner. Instead, I preach Jesus Christ who saves any who believe in Him, and trust Him.
