Actually, Berundi beat out Afghanistan. In any case, the large percentage of communist and former communist countries toward the top of the list makes for an interesting fact, too. So basically the most unstable countries in the world either have a high percentage of atheists or are fundamentalist. Just goes to show that moderation is a good thing.

Well, put it this way. If you have two choice, and it is a very real choice, not the type where some imaginary creature will kill you after you die type, either you believe in me or you die.
Atheists value life very much and therefore chances are we will fake "religious" if needed to be.

in a Theocracy, it's hard really to tell who is who
saying you are an unbeliever is a death sentence
imagine the US if it became Jewish, Catholic or Muslim
all Christians would go back underground and be like Atheists today
