What is the Rankings for the Marine Corp. I need the Rankings for Assaultman, Rifleman, Mortarman, and Machine Gunner and also more, and what they do for the marine corp. i am going to join here shortly..

Marines have ranks and they have an MOS (Military Occupation Specialty). The MOS sounds like what you may be looking for. It's been about 40 years since I was in the Corps, but As I remember a rifleman, (infantry) is 0300. ALL US Marines are riflemen first. I was a machine gunner for awhile and I think that was something like 0330, but don't hold me to that. Privates, Private First Class (PFC), Lance Corporal are usually the ranks in all the MOS you mentioned.
Private, PFC and L/Cpl are the first three ratings.
Next is Corporal, Sergeant, Staff Sergeant, Gunnery Sergeant, Master Sergeant and the highest, Sergeant Major/Master Gunnery Sergeant.

What do you mean by rankings? I'm in the Marine Corps and my boyfriend is a machine gunner. It doesn't take much to be in the infantry.

What do you mean by "rankings"?
If you mean "rank", then you go through all the steps with each MOS (Occupational Specialty). You start with E-1, then E-2, and so on.
My advice--don't join. I've never seen anyone who served in the Marines who ever lived a "normal" life afterwards. (Family members included). It really messes up a person's mind.
Having said that, if I were in trouble, I would rather have the Marines sent to rescue me instead of any other branch of service. Marines must willing to sacrifice all (including life) to save other Americans. None of the other military services are trained to lay down their lives--without questioning.

rank has nothing to do with these jobs, if you are talking about the MOS numbers, they are, 0351, 0311, 0341, and 0331 respectively. as for what they do, assaultmen are in charge of demolition fot the 11s machine gunners increase fire power in a regular 11s plt or can provide cover fire for the 11s plt to move. mortarmen provide indirect fire in support of 11s and riflemen, the 11s basically conduct all ground opperations, defensive and offensive.

pay attention heavily, i served contained in the army for six years, marines for 4, and that i became comparable to you, wanted to shelter your usa make your persons and family members proud, maximum suitable spot for you is paratrooper
