Probally not.

Generally the services no longer allow extentions for personal reasons.

Only for military reasons.

But you can always ask.

They might allow it, if your Rate is under manned.

iffy. Most require longer. you cannot do it just because you want braces. Extensions at EAOS generally happen so that you are not sent to a new duty station for less than a year only to get out.

Rivera WAS the best closer ever. As I watch him, I see him struggling. He is nearing the end of a very illustrious career. Papelbon on the other hand is just starting out. So I would have to say Papelbon. I think the yankees are making a big mistake not having Joba groomed as a closer and inserting him as the set up man to Rivera.
