Yes definitely. Why should a smokers rights be any less than a non-smokers right. Of course, there should also be common curtsy, but if a non-smoker comes to where I am smoking, why should I be made to stop. They chose to come to where there was smoke.

I personally think enough slack has been cut for smokers and it's about time something was done about it! I am not against people smoking in their homes or in private, but once their habit starts effecting my health, then we have an issue. It's unfortunate that the solution had to be drastic, but I think it was the only logical thing to do. People are ultimately responsible for themselves and have free will, but people need to realize that these decisions effect others, who do not wish to take part in that habit.

I don't think smokers should expect society to accommodate their unhealthy habit, it's the other way around. There are plenty of places that do allow smoking, where non smokers cannot complain! I sometimes go to the casino near my house and I know full well that there will be smoking everywhere, and that is a decision I make and cannot get mad about! In that situation, the smokers have the "right of way", so to speak. There are still plenty of other places where people can smoke in public, but at the very least, smoke needs to stay out of restaurants.

All it did grow to be force the enterprise underground and the money to the gangsters. needless to say there have been no taxes paid so the government (tax payer) grow to be the genuine loser. The curtailing of tobacco use will merely ensue whilst the tax money raised from the sale pass to smoking cessation and training classes, however the government won't do this and lose destiny tax sales from all the reformed human beings who smoke. the sole genuine thank you to end tobacco use is to end offering loose wellness care to customers, If a guy or woman chooses to poison themselves why could my tax money pay for his or her treatments like COPD or bronchial asthma or lung maximum cancers. i'm unsure that cigarettes in an impulse purchase and that in case you do not see it you will not desire it. maximum people who smoke will purchase cigarettes whether or not they're displaye dor not. the single project that bothers me maximum with regard to the ban on reflects is the media commercial with regard to the ban. i think of that is going to have been finished quietly as a replace of the government finding for a pat on the back. and how lots money grow to be spent on those classified ads? I don't have the right to tell others that they cannot use a legal substance no matter how it stinks or the possibilities of cancer. I find those who knock back a few drinks and then drive far more concerning. That said, I try to avoid posted smoking areas, and I appreciate smokers who avoid congregating by main entrances to buildings so I don't have to walk through a cloud to get inside.

cigarettes will never be banned
1. tabacco comes from a plant so ppl will grow their own.
2. almost all of what you pay for a pack of cigs is taxes so the governments making a ton of money.
3. tabacco companys also make the nicotine patches and gums those are also taxed heavily so its a mega money maker all the way around so why should they care about your health. actually they should but they dont because theyre all about big business and making money at other ppl expense

They're being banned? *cough!* I can finally breathe!

No, I'd say people have had enough time and leeway to cut the habit, or at lest for a few minutes. Sadly nothing seems to be working, though.
